Our education plan

• More funding for public schools, less for wealthy private schools
• GST to apply to Private School Fees increasing funding for public schools.
• Public school student performance bonuses for attending and completing school work (paid as vouchers purchased from competing suitable retailers)
• No passports or tax file numbers for students not attending school or completing reasonable set work
• Establish a free video library for all national curriculum subjects created by the best presenters available. This is to supplement classroom teaching and assist where expert teachers are not available.

Supporting higher education

We would reduce the cost of higher education in selected fields of study. This may require a commitment for graduates to work in the public service for some period.
