We will add more tax on fossil fuels to fund more housing and other public services.

We also will encourage electric vehicles which reduce local air pollution to zero.

Fighting climate change

Uncontrolled climate change is a huge threat to the Earth’s biosphere. As many nations are not taking action we may need to look at alternatives to global action on carbon emissions.

Stop deforestation

We will act to stop deforestation in Australia. Often this only continues because of government subsidies.

Super trees & super crops

Genetic engineering may assist in producing super plants that can capture and store carbon more efficiently while consuming less water. There is more on this here.

This may also be feasible with marine aquatic plants.
