The ALP has quietly sent another $A 1.5 billion to the US for the Virginia SSN that will never arrive.

The production rate for the Virginia SSN remains stuck at 1.2 per annum which is well below the 2.3 per annum rate needed for the US Navy, let alone the US Navy + Australia.

Future US Presidents will push back the delivery from 2035 into the never-never, especially if war erupts with China over Taiwan.

Out Solution is to buy advanced non-nuclear submarines.
